Days after Coach celebrated its 75th anniversary with a star-studded blowout, there is reportedly even more exciting news for the brand: According to Page Six, Selena Gomez is going to be its newest celebrity face.
Coach is known for working with big-name celebs — they have Chloë Grace Moretz fronting their fragrance, Lena Dunham serving as a muse for their 75th anniversary handbags and loyal fans including Emma Roberts and Zoë Kravitz attend every runway show.
But with Gomez reigning as queen of Instagram for the second year in a row, this would be one of their biggest celeb partnerships to date. The deal reportedly cost $10 million, according to Page Six, and in addition to starring in the advertising campaign, Gomez will also designer her own line for the brand. Coach has not yet responded to the reports, saying “Coach has a long-standing policy of not commenting on rumors and speculation.”

The report comes from an anonymous source, so details remain limited as to what kind of line she’ll design, or how involved she’ll be with the design teams, but this isn’t her first time partnering with an iconic brand. She has a big ad campaign tied with Louis Vuitton and is a Pantene hair spokesmodel.
The star recently came back into the spotlight after a three month hiatus. After feeling burnt out she took a break to “take care of myself,” Gomez said. She went cell phone-free during her time away and made her official debut at the American Music Awards.
Accepting her award she told fans in an emotional speech: “If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken … whether you respect me or not, one thing you should know about is I care about people.”
